August Favourites

Seen as my last months favourites were late, this seems to have come around so quick! A lot of these favourites were things i took on holiday and loved, so without further ado...

Collection 2000 Colour Match Foundation

I got this from Poundland believe it or not! After a week abroad my skin is definitely a few shades darker, but i didn't want to spend much money on a foundation ill only be using for the next couple of months. This is really smooth, and although its dark, its not too dark and like it says on the bottle, it really does blend into your skin colour.

Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades in Blushalicious (3.99) Boots - here

This was the only blusher i took on holiday so i used this everyday. Its SO pigmented and it will last me ages as you only need the tiniest amount on your brush. I haven't really used the bottom right shade, but i love all the others - i generally use a little of each on my cheeks everyday for a summery look

No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara in Black (12.50) Boots - here

I took 2 mascaras on holiday, and didn't even use the other one because this is so amazing. It makes my lashes really long and full, its easy to take off, and the brush feels like i gets right in-between each lash.

MAC Plusglass in Ample Pink (17) - here

Ive been wearing this during the day this month, as it seems to just go perfectly with whatever makeup i am wearing, not to mention it smells absolutely gorgeous. Its a subtle nude with a tiny hint of pink, and i always get compliments on this!

17 Ultimate Volume Lipgloss in Butterfly Cake (3.99) Boots - here

I wore this most evenings on holiday, and found its really stunning when the light catches it. Its a pretty pink with a subtle gold shimmer which is what makes it catch the light. It lasted even after a meal, and its in no way sticky - intact it was so smooth i couldn't stop rubbing my lips together!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain (5.99) Boots - here

I LOVE everything about this, the minty smell, the way it feels on my lips, and of course the colour. Its the perfect summer colour, but i will still be using this throughout the autumn as its just too good not to!

Bourjois 1 Second Gel Nail Polish Shade 14 - £5.99
(The false nails are Kiss)

I definitely saved the best til last! It was my birthday on the 1st September, and i luckily found this just in time - this is most definitely my favourite nail polish EVER. I felt like a true disney princess when i put this on
:)

BIG collective haul

Im getting to the stage now where I'm running out of my favourite products, and whilst I'm trying to use up as many things as i can in a bid to downsize my collection, I'm still on the hunt for bargains and wonder products! So this is what happened...

I found these in Sainsburys, and the fact they were 70% off (meaning i paid around £1 for each product) made this a no brainer.

Buff Your Stuff Body Scrub

Bare Necessity Body Lotion

All of a Lather Body Wash

Superdrug are currently holding a 3 for 2 offer on all cosmetics, and seen as id ran out of 2 of my most favourite products, i thought there was no better time to stock up.

Barry M Nail Paint in Berry Ice Cream £2.99

Collection 2000 Naturally Matt Foundation in Ivory £2.99

MUA Mosaic Blush in English Rose £2.50

This was a repurchase as i LOVE it!

Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Hot Cloth Cleanser £5.99

Ive heard too much about this, and if its anything like Liz Earle ill be one happy lady!

I took a trip to TK Maxx for a spot of holiday shopping, and got these instead. Essie seems to be all the rage at the minute, and with 3 polishes for £9.99, i couldn't resist!

Bordeaux

I have no idea what shade this is which is really frustrating!

Capri

I saw these and thought they were PERFECT to take on holiday, they're teeny tiny and for £7.99 i thought this was great!

(L-R) 54, 51, 46, 52, 37

£2.50 - Tesco

This has fast become one my most favourite makeup products. Although some products from this range are priced a little higher, i couldn't believe how cheap this was!

Simple Facial Wash - here
Simple Moisturiser - here

Ive nearly ran out of my clearasil gear, which means a change in my skincare routine!
To try combat my dry skin, I'm going to try out simple.

NOTD - Fruity Glitter !

L.A Colours - Jewel Tone
Collection 2000 - Fruit Salad

This is has fast become one my favourite combinations for summer, its the perfect peachy pinky coral shade (which seems to be the 'in' colour this year) and the sparkle just makes this that little bit more fun, and suitable for night time too!

Putting the glitter top coat on meant this lasted a WEEK, which is very good going in my eyes! The shimmer this gives off when in the sun is something you just don't get when you wear glitter at christmas time.

I must admit i LOVE the Fruit Salad without the glitter, and thats probably the more versatile option if you're fashion forward, but i think this just goes to show you don't have to save all your glitters for the festive season - they can add a touch of sparkle to your summer too!
